Do You Know What This Is? February 25, 2009

Neither did we when Brooklyn asked us this question.  This picture cracked me up though.  Apparantly she’s been learning about camouflaged sea animals at school, and she drew this picture about what she learned.

What is this?

What is this?

In case you are wondering, that is an octopus in blue on the left, and a pipe snake in green.  The red at the bottom right is a sea horse.  The orange animal here is a mystery.  She couldn’t remember the name.  However, she tells us it is a fish that looks like it’s seaweed nest.  Just the idea of a drawn picture of camouflaged sea animals cracked me up.  It’s one of my favorite art  projects that has ever come home from school! Oh, and by the way, if you are wondering about the black grid on top of the pictures, we have no explanation for it.  Brooklyn couldn’t really explain very well, but it appears a friend at school drew it onto B’s paper for no reason whatsoever.
