We decided it was time that Grace was introduced to the fine art of wrestling, or wrasslin’ as we call it. I think she was a little nervous, but once they got going, she had a great time.
Wrassin’ has rules. First, we clear out any unnecessary or potentially dangerous furniture. Second, glasses, keys, watches, or any potentially dangerous accessories are removed. Third, a large pillow is placed on the floor as a landing spot for body slams. Fourth, if anyone says “ow” or makes any sort of pain-noise, wrasslin’ stops to make sure the hurt one is okay. And fifth, tickling is strictly prohibited. (well, not that strictly, if truth be told! Robb just made that rule because he didn’t want the kids tickling him!)
The kids had a great time, and I think Robb burned quite a few calories!! My favorite part was after the match was over. Brooklyn and Grace were sitting next to me, and I overheard Grace tell Brooklyn, “Your dad said that tomorrow night he’s coming for me!”
