First Paradigm Concert October 9, 2011

Filed under: Daily Life — Jen @ 8:04 pm

This week we attended a choir concert at Ryan’s school.  He is in the men’s choir, and it was their first concert of the year.  It was pretty fun to listen to.  The high school definitely has a higher caliber of talent and performance standards than the junior high.

Ryan loves this choir.  It is his favorite class.  Well, that and volleyball and Seminary.  He did a great job of memorizing his parts and performing well.  My only complaint was about our seats.  Ryan told us to sit on the left side, and that the grey seats would be more comfortable than the blue ones.  So I got there early, staked out some aisle seats a couple rows back on the left side, and, as you can see from the picture, the one and only obstruction in the entire place was directly in our way!!  I tried (unsuccessfully) to get a better picture.  It was a bitter disappointment.

Apparently, we’ll be hearing from this choir again at the Christmas program, as well as the school play, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat.”  Should be a fun year!

Nice Microphone Head, Ryan.
